Hazardous To My Health- The Marlboro Man I Knew    Aloha, my name is Charles and I want to tell you all about a new book that my wife Marcia has just written. It's a true story about the kidnapping of her and her four and five year old children by Claude Hall, the third man to be used in the famous Philip Morris Marlboro Man advertising campaign.
    Claude was a Hollywood actor from 1962 to 1968 and portrayed the Marlboro Man from 1963 to 1966.
He was in Rawhide, with Clint Eastwood, Big Valley with Lee Majors, Bonanza and many films including Viva Las Vegas with Elvis Presley and Ann Margaret, Commancheros with John Wayne and many others. The Hollywood scene along with Philip Morris black balled Claude as they obviously realized that he was a very bad apple. Neither industry has anything to say about Claude Hall. Nothing in the archives at all in his name.
    Claude was a very successful night club owner in the late 60's to the late 70's. He had a club in Manhattan Beach, CA. called Cisco's with partners Clint Eastwood and Dickie Smothers, A club in Waikiki, HI. called The Red Noodle With Dickie Smothers and a club in Lake Tahoe NV. Claude had my wife and children kidnapped in Hawaii when he operated The Red Noodle. He just had his Samoan bouncers and body guards just move them into his home in Hawaii. No questions asked, just moved them!
    This man was very famous and was a sociopath with gut wrenching sexual fantasies and was nothing more than a monster behind closed doors. The needle on his moral compass had fallen off. He told Marcia about him being Maffia connected and that he had been a hit man in the past. He terrified Marcia with the threat of killing her mother or her father, or the kids if she ever tried to leave him. Marcia got the message loud and clear. Marcia was beaten senseless numerous times with many trips to the hospital.They were absolutely terrified of him
    This true story is not about cigarettes or smoking, It's about abduction, rape, fear, faith, forgiveness and survival... And survive she did. For four long years she survived. By the grace of God they are alive today. Now after decades of silence, Marcia is finally telling her story. An unbelievable story that you just have to read.

    Life is very good and I am married to a wonderful, loving and caring person who has went through a living hell, but never lost her faith in her God. Oh yes, there was an unbearable time when she had a failed attempt at suicide, followed by a lot of thoughts of homicide that kept haunting her and creeping in.
